We’ve all become cocktail connoisseurs during the coronavirus lockdown, recreating our favourite boozy drinks at home, and collecting enough bartender paraphernalia and equipment to open our your bar!

Now tequila is one of those drinks on a night out many of us try to avoid to stop the night getting silly, but if you’re missing out on your margaritas then Patrón has teamed up with Amazon to get you organised. The Patrón Pantry is a one-stop-shop for budding bartenders seeking to recreate bar-grade cocktails at home using ingredients you’d find at the supermarket.

The Mexican producer of tequila has collaborated with many of the mixologists who took part in the Patrón Perfectionists cocktail competition, and now consumers can choose from three cocktail recipes created by London-based Giulia Cuccurullo, Vancouver resident Jared Schmidt, and Allan Suárez from Mexico City.

Select your cocktail of choice, and Amazon will deliver all the ingredient to your door so you can shake them up and enjoy at home. Each kit includes a recipe card. Catering to all palates, each of the cocktails uses a different Patrón expression.

“With consumers increasingly shopping online and shifting to cocktail deliveries and drinks at home, we have been working to elevate the user journey,” said Joanna Botwood, marketing director, Europe, at Patrón.

“The Patrón Pantry on Amazon reflects the increasing consumer demand for making simple but delicious drinks at home from ingredients that are easy to find.

“It has given us a platform through which we can continue to showcase the bartending talent within our community, on new channels for the on-trade.

“We see this as an innovation that anticipates what the next chapter of online shopping looks like, with a wider shift to experience-led formats enabling consumers to customise purchases and activities,” Botwood added.

We are now taking bookings from 17 July, so whatever your reason to celebrate, come to your favourite cocktail bar in Leicester Square soon!
